Introduction
The Scripture Union Chiedza project, which serves children and youth living and working on the streets, continued smoothly during the reporting period. Activities such as feeding, laundry, life skills education, counseling, and recreation were conducted at both the Contact Centre and the Place of Safety.
Project Objectives
To reduce the number of children and youth living and working on the streets of Masvingo city.
To create healthier and higher-quality lives for these vulnerable children and youth.
To develop their ability to make sound decisions and plan for a better future.
To improve their physical, psychosocial, and spiritual well-being.
To engage them in peer-based programs that offer opportunities for livelihood skills development.

Challenges
Limited Capacity: The current rented house at the Place of Safety can only accommodate 6 children. Owning a facility would allow us to help more children.
Resource Constraints: Our farming projects remain small-scale. We hope to provide children with livelihood skills and income-generating opportunities for sustainable living.
Success Stories
Two boys from the Place of Safety were appointed as prefects at their schools.
One girl successfully passed her A-Level exams with 14 points.
The broiler chicken project remains active with 500 chicks in rotation.
Conclusion
Scripture Union Chiedza sincerely thanks Change A Life Foundation for the support received, especially in launching the broiler project. Your continued partnership is making a lasting impact on the lives of vulnerable children in Masvingo.
